I am having a great summer and hope you are too!
I turned 60 this summer and I honestly can say I feel really good about it. I think 50 was harder in terms of feeling like I was really ‘aging’ for some reason. 60 feels liberating, like a renaissance. I am still learning, growing as a person and having a lot of fun. I care less about what people think of me and more about what makes me happy.
Some of you know I went to see Beyonce in concert in July and it was so much fun. I am not a music critic but here is what Oprah thought of the concert and I agree. Also I was 100% this woman (without the mustache filter) getting ready for the concert. Beyonce’s new album is my first favorite thing. It will not be everyone’s cup of tea so beware!
The next thing I am loving is pretty practical compared to that last one – it is these gorgeous dish cloths I got from my pal Sharron for my birthday. They are so soft once you break them in. You can pick these up at Lemonciello in Calgary.
The last thing is my new bathing suit from Skims. I really like it and although I have lots of imperfections and cellulite etc. I am all for a #wearthebathingsuit summer renaissance.
