Many of you have asked about how my recent yoga retreat in Mexico went so I thought I’d write a quick post about it.

The short answer to this question to this question is – fabulous!

I took a group of 8 yogis to Puerto Escondido Mexico for seven days to rest, soak up the sun, eat well, and do some yoga!

We flew from Calgary to Huatulco airport and then made our way up the Oaxacan coast to a villa located just outside of Puerto Escondido. What a place! The villa exceeded my expectations. It was not only lovely with a spectacular view, we had a staff of four to take care of us! The chef was a talented woman named Adelina and Hilario was our guy who shopped, arranged transport and made a mean margarita. The design of the villa made it very comfortable in the heat, which was in the mid thirties and sunny every day. We practiced yoga twice a day on the veranda in front of the pool, we read and slept in the hammocks, we swam in the pool and walked on the beach. We had fancy drinks and ate the most delicious food. We got amazing massages. We laughed, relaxed, talked and generally had a fabulous time.

It was the most relaxing Mexico retreat so far !! See what the participants thought about it in a short video here.

Please check out my instagram feed with lots of photos of the trip here, or check my prapti Facebook page here for some photos.

Next year I hope to go again (sometime in February 2018). We may take a bit more time and add a chance to learn more about the culture and language of Mexico. Let me know if you might be interested by going to my contact page.
